1. Stylized coupon shortcode for WCFM
We wanted to know of it's possible for you to develop a plugin for both WooCommerce and WCFM that would display all vendor coupons in a "card" structure. Currently there's only one plugin that I know that makes this possible, and it's Smart Coupons: [login to view URL]
We tried this plugin and it sort of suited our needs but there were some caveats:
- The coupons did not display the vendor's name. Since it's suited for WooCommerce only and not WCFM, there was no way it could display the vendor's name if it was the vendor's coupon. We've reached out to WCFM and they provided a code snippet that actually displayed the vendor's name and profile picture, along with the coupon code and details.
- But the most important feature that it lacked: you couldn't filter coupons by category. That is, if you used this shortcode on a page, it would display ALL currently available coupons. What we had in mind is that we'd have different coupon shortcodes to display coupons from specific categories. That way each product category page would show the relevant coupons that apply to that category. For example: if I have a fashion store, and I have select number of coupons that only applies to the "T-shit" category, I'd need a shortcode to display these coupons on the T-shirt category page. The same would work for "Pants", "Shoes", etc.
So we wanted to know of you can develop such plugin. Either if you can build it from scratch or using another plugin and develop on top of it, let us know. The coupon card structure would have look as follows (and also include the actual coupon code which is missing): [login to view URL]
The coupons would have to go to the vendor's page when clicked
2. Membership form for subscription services
I'm sure you must've already seen membership plugins for WordPress. There are many plugin that also offer membership subscriptions to be bought through WooCommerce. What we have is a very specific need: we wanted to include a membership form after a user buys the subscription through WooCommerce. That way we can gather specific information about the users. But most important, we want to use the form to create a "Member card". That is, by using specific fields in the form, we would fill out this card and send it to the user's email. E.g.: their name, birthday, ID, etc. The card would be sent in either a PDF format if possible or just through CSS in their email. The card design is attached below.
Maybe it's better if you develop this feature on top of an existing plugin.
