I have an old site, built in 2009, for the domain www.crisconsult.ro. The site was hosted on a MacOS 10.12.6 Server just fine, but I recently upgraded the Server to 10.13 without knowing that in this upgrade, PHP gets updated too, to version 7. Now the site is broken and unable to load.
The site is lightweight, having some general descriptions on pages (text) and a MySQL database that's used to host PDF files that get shown on the site. I know Apple has upgraded to PostgreSQL but I installed MySQL for compatibility some time ago.
So now I have to make a decision: Either upgrade the PHP module so that to run the broken old PHP applications or build the site from scratch, with latest and up to date modules (PHP7, Postgre) so that to ensure better compatibility on the long run.
I'm open to suggestions. Please excuse my lack of web knowledge.
