Python 2.7 will already be installed by default on Ubuntu, but I can help you get started and setup. Heya Python should come standard with Ubuntu so I feel you should be fine there, if for some reason it is not installed that can be sorted out quickly. Could you elaborate on the installing of automate the boring stuff? I know that is a series of tutorials but have never heard it be referred to in this context. Best wishes, Mike
