I need a small Inventory software.
This will be used for managing paper reels ( For corrugating industry) which are in KG's and in our case for an item if we have 3 reels of 30kg,50kg,40kg then open inventory will Show like this only 30Kg, 50Kg, 40Kg.
This is for our corrugating box factory and here are the details
Home Screen - Should Show open Inventory in real time ( Open inventory means inventory in stock)
Eg: Item 1 40KG + 50KG+60kg etc
Add Inventory - Will be used for adding inventory. Here follows are the columns/options
Item Name - Will be auto complete feature (Like [url removed, login to view] when you type it shows similar names). If the name doesnt exist then option to add new.
Vendor Name:- Will be auto complete feature (Like [url removed, login to view] when you type it shows similar names). If the name doesnt exist then add new.
Date :- Automatically select todays date but should be able to change if needed (Calender)
Weight:- Numeric digit always in KG
Then two button one "Save and Close" Another one "Save and Add More"
Use Inventory - Will be used when we use the inventory to make boxes
Item Name - Will be auto complete feature (Like [url removed, login to view] when you type it shows similar names). Item must exist since we are using it so shouldnt be able to add new item name.
Date:- Todays date but should be able to edit
Quantity:- Should be able to select from a drop down which shows available inventory for selected item. For eg:- if there are 3 reels of different weight then it should show the weights in drop down.
Vendor Name:- Should autofill as soon as we select the quantity
Balance :- TO BE FILLED BY USER.....Numeric value in KGs. For eg If we selected a reel of 30kg and then type 10 in balance means we used 20KG's and then the new updated inventory should show "10KG(B)".
(B) denotes that this reel has previously been used
Then two button one "Save and CLose" Another one "Save and Use More"
Edit Inventory - to edit the open inventory
We should be able to view and print the following reports
1) Open Inventory - should print complete open inventory
2) Datewise Inventory - This should show inventory use according to date
3) Datewide Inventory (Add) - This should show report of inventory additions
4) Vendor Report - Self Explanatory
5) Itemwise Report - shows when the item was added and how was it used
If you read everything you'll realise that it is very basic and shouldnt take much time to build.
PS:- you will host this on my web as well as tell me how to set it up locally on a desktop because we need this on a machine which doesnt connect to internet. Machine runs on Windows 7 64 bit version.
IT SHOULD BE USER FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL LOOKING. SHOULD HAVE 2 USERS FOR NOW ONE BASIC USER AND 2ND ADMIN.
