The application is perferdly web-based application using PHP, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and a MySQL database. I wanted to make a very simple social application that consists of a simple database for international students to help them find a homestay. Where the students will access the website and create a profile [Firstname, Lastname, year, nationality...] for "Homestay owners" to see and checkout there profiles which are stored in a database. The students can make a simple profile and include some info about themselves, hobbies, pictures... and the homestays could choose if they would like to take one of the students to there homes. It only needs a sign in and registration area, where the students submit there Profiles/CVs. then the homestay (home owners)... can accept or decline the offers from the students through the database. It doesnt need to be anything fancy just a simple program that works.
