I am currently working at an e-commerce company, and we have launched a new website. My company wants to build a new database in the program we use called Filemaker Pro Advanced, to fulfill and print orders as they come in. Note we have two databases connected right now to our two additional websites.
To give a little backstory, we use a FileMaker 12 Server Advanced at our office which also runs a basic IIS server. The original developer wrote a script using the PHP API for FileMaker Server Advanced to pull data from the Shopify store. He added a webhook to the shop and have it POST the data to a private URL that goes to our server where it creates a new record and fills in all the data, all ready for us to print and fulfil.
I basically want to duplicate what he has done, and create a new database on the pre-existing server, but I have been having trouble accessing the droplet web server, and just at a loss in general overall. I duplicated one of the databases and wiped all the records, so I already have a database/layout configured, I just need to get this database up and running so orders can start coming through.
