I already have a script set up, that allows me to share the top level domain name with index files in sub directories.
This is done by passing a parameter in the url which sets a cookie and creates an iframe in the root directory index page. This iframe displays the index file specified in the subfolder passed in the parameter..
This works reasonably well except the iframe is being generated on the fly, in html and this is causing the iframe to have its own scroll bars and the browsers scroll bar is dissabled.
I need the root directory index page to display the subdirectory index page in a seamless fassion. The cookie is set so that if any one typed in [login to view URL] they would se the original subdirectory index file evertime unless they clicked..
..then this would become thier default index page.
To summarise:
This script should allow a parameter to be passed in the url to specify which subdirectory should display the top level domain page.
The index page should look exactly like an ordinary top level page, the iframe should not display toolbars only the browser toolbars should be visible and active.
A cookie should be set (already in the existing code - works perfectly well) so that a person will return to the original subdirectory page they were directed to originally, unless they click on a similar link as shown above.
