Email Marketing Signature
The concept is to serve email signatures to participating members of a business from a central database location. The signatures will present marketing messages (or lead generators) that are static or served in a serial order upon on subsequent communications (i.e. a campaign sequence).
Admin will login to their account and be given access to add new staff members as well as define individual members or group preferred templates and personal details (name, email, address, title, logo, etc). Will need to define if the signature goes above or below the marketing message.
We might have sets of staff members assigned to unique groups so we can allocate to specific campaigns.
After setting the staff member up, the system will prompt admin to send a setup instruction email to the relevant members/groups. We’ll have options for various email clients such as Outlook, Gmail, Office 365 etc. I envisage that we’ll simply add some code to the signature section of their email and when they open a new email, the signature and message will be automatically loaded.
Campaign and Ad Creation
Within the promotion side of the application, we’ll be able to setup campaigns which will consist of a series of email promotion signatures. Examples will include ebook promotions, lead generators, sales messages, did you know etc. It’s not important to include an exhaustive list of options here but to provide a universal way to create campaigns so we have the option to promote multiple campaign types.
Within the campaign, we can define to send as random or in series. When sent randomly, we want to make sure that the same message is not sent to the SAME user until all messages in the campaign have been sent. When sent in series, the email signatures will be served one after the other. Just on this point, we’d need a simple way to view and order the signatures so we can easily adjust the order.
It would be good to have an ad builder…like they do in the Google Display Network and Facebook.
This is really important. We need to be able to measure the impressions, clicks and CTR for each of the promotions based on campaign, user/etc. and present this graphically.
