Port PHP scripts to Amazon EC2 and S3

We have currently a basic PHP script on a webserver that 1) provides an upload of a video file (including progress bar) to the web server, 2) runs a background script adapated from PHPMotion which uses FFPMEG to convert the video to FLV, inject meta data, create a thumbnail, etc. and then 3) use curl to send data to a different server noting that the conversion is complete, and then 4) make that new FLV file on Amazon S3 a private, signed file so it can't be accessed. The existing PHP scripts that are currently working and currently hosted on a standard web host can be made available to you. Your task is to make it function under Amazon Web Services. As part of a separate process to access those FLV files, we need created a PHP script that can generate a signed URL on the fly.
