PHP modify: Flat rate for each item for oscommerce shipping module

As you all know, OScommerce has a good shipping module, but the thing it's lacking is that to set flat rate for EACH item (just like ebay). Instead, it has WEIGHT for each item.

I need someone with good experiences in php and oscommerce modification to modify it so I can put FLAT SHIPPING RATE for EACH item.
