This is probably a ridiculously small job for this forum, but I've googled for days and have no other option but to seek help.
The exact directory structure, file info, etc is shown in detail, in the attached txt document, however, Generally this is the issue...
I have an include file that calls up a php rotator script. The script rotates some html content, including a second php rotator script that rotates an image within the text content.
The second rotator will not run unless I surf the included html directly.
i don't believe it is related to paths because both include statements are called with the document root which is supposed to make it bullet proof as far as the path goes:
<?php include($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/includes/HomeContentRotator.php"); ?>
and, I don't believe its related to the include files themselves, because I know they both work. further... it can not be related to the second include file (FeatCommRotator) because.... that file is being called from the 2nd include which lives in the ***results*** of the first included file. ***that*** file won't even run a basic php command such as echo which was placed there as a test. (but it does run if i surf that html directly.)
so if echo does not work, then the second include is not even getting fired up.
not sure if i explained that clearly , i know its kind of abstract :-) i ****think**** the problem has more to do with the *resulting* file that is rotated as a result of the first include (the first rotator...homecontent)
At any rate... the exact directory structure, file info, etc is shown in detail, in the attached txt document.
