I have already created 'DOCUMENT REPOSITORIES' in my projects like Meeting platform, Product Lifecycle Management, CRMs, Real Estate software with custom built CRMs etc. I am curious to know; 1) Do you want users to pay for using storage space? 2) How many 'mbs of memory'/'number of documents' you want to upload in one go? 3) Do you want users to create folders and upload documents in a folder, or directly a simple dashboard with all possible documents in a single area? 4) Do you want a scan feature in the website itself or you will scan it separately and then upload? 5) What different type of file formats you want this website to support? I recommend setting up a simple website on AWS and give options of different S3 storage tiers. We can use different default storage types from AWS, which can help in reducing costs.
