Need to write/change 2 functions in php/mySQL

Recent handling of the submittion into the forum is not always done right way.
Here is an example from the DB:
TEST WWW:[url removed, login to view]
TEST #2 - eMAIL: MyEmail AT [url removed, login to view]
TEST #3 - eMAIL: MyEmail AT [url removed, login to view]
I need changed or rewritten function to take the input into the database already formated right way and output to be also formated right way. Every click on properly masked eMail brings user to the mail box. This function output formating works, but need some corrections.
Previous implementation uses strip_tags function, which doesn't handle eMail string (see TEST #3 example above)
I propose following conceptual idea. Fuction should take the input from both edits (new topic and reply) and check if there is eMails. When eMail submitted convert the input of eMail into something like "" and then show the link to the message board if this string ("") occures in output.
If you dissagree with this idea, i will be happy to hear your arguments. I prefer to hear expert opinion, then message from another self-proclaimed "company". I have alergy on such on translators, who are re-selling somebody's work and call it "company" and designers. Real companies are not looking for work on freelance sites. I need no design or flash work. Please do not propose me anything like that.
I want to see real-time work. Not another ghost.
