We are a brand development venture looking to outsource all our clients future website development.
For our existing client, we need a website with similar layout and functionality to [login to view URL] (client likes the scrolling menu and page content scrolling over static images in background). She no longer uses her old website, but the client still has her domain. We don't have a mockup, but really like the layout and functionality of Blue Whale (her business partner), so we are happy to settle for a similar template, but not exact since they are associated.
The most important thing for us is:
A) Quality code, providing a stable website.
B) Responsiveness - compatible on all browsers and platforms.
C) Website needs to maintain itself or we should be notified of updates which need to be made.
D) We, or our clients, needs to be able to make updates ourselves whenever necessary.
It is a one-pager - About / Services / Our Approach / News / Client Zone / Contact - each only a paragraph with bullets. When a visitor clicks on a menu item on the top of the page, the page scrolls down to that section on the page (as with Blue Whale). The only thing we need to consider (whether it should be on the one-pager or separate pages) is News and Client Zone.
The client would like to add latest news / interesting reads or articles to the News section herself.
Regarding the Client Zone section: She literally wants to be able to store PDF's or Word documents under the Client's "zone" where they can access the files anywhere, anytime from any device. Thus, each client will have their own login, and once logged in, they will be able to see the PDF documents and preview or download them. We need a separate quote for the Client Zone please.
Please quote accordingly.
