I need a basic application that has a button and once pressed will somehow block programs from connecting to the internet and once you press the button again it allows internet usage again. Please give an accurate quote as i will only give time to people who can do it for the price quoted. I will not continue on with a conversation unless you tell me the price upfront no extra costs. Please note that i do not hire people that request money upfront i will set up a mile stone which can be one lump sum or split in to two parts. I will not release a milestone until i see work. Hi, i can do this if target architecture is Windows Vista or newer. In Windows Vista - Base Filtering Engine was introduced, it allows to intercept network packets and pass them through or drop, both inbound and outbound traffic. This solution will allow to switch on and off, without need of enabling/disabling network interface controllers (IP address is not going to be released or renewed when ON/OFF button is pressed). Base Filtering Engine is used by Windows Firewall - my solution will work similarly and will require UAC for the application to run. This will work also on systems with 3rd party firewalls installed like COMODO Firewall. Technologies: Base Filtering Engine (via WinDivert), Lazarus for user interface. Compatibility: Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10.

Hi, I am software engineer from Serbia. Basically you can turn it off by using windows shell scripts. It will be run as .jar file. It will start a program when your computer starts and it will run in background without any UI. When you press some key it will block internet connection. Or if you want it can have UI and when you press it it will stop everything. It can even be run remotly from mobile phone but it needs server to connect to and wait for notification. Greetings! This should be a pretty straightforward project. Please send a quick note with more details as to the features you want with this program. For now, I have a plan in mind to build a Windows program that can block/unblock internet access. Note that you must be diligent in making sure user accounts don't have administrator access. Remember that a standard user who tries to run the program as administrator will get the UAC prompt asking for the administrator password. So, make sure you log off the admin account and that users are setup accordingly. Thank you for your time and consideration. David
