I'm trying to find somone in the U.S. or Canada that can answer questions about Joomla and help evaluate the best modules and components. I've got a Delphi programming background and have installed PHP, Apache, MySQL as instructed.
I'm at the beginning of a large project where I will have to find and evaluate a wide variety of modules for MANY full featured CommerceCentric sites.
This project will last a long time and continually evolve. I'm looking for someone who is comfortable with Joomla and developing PHP based additions, but also the maturity to be able to evaluate the best solutions. I expect I'd pay you an hourly rate for the time we spent on the phone and am also willing to travel to meet, if this method is productive. I hope you don't mind the idea of 'mentoring' and I will be a grateful student who promises not to ask the same question twice (and pay on time).
