Inventory, Stock Control, Purchasing, Stats and Forcasting for Mail Order Company Mail Order

We are seeking a developer to provide us with a fresh, robust system to meet with the demands of our mail order company.

We have self developed Claris FM for the last 20+ years, initially to run inventory, purchasing, forecasting, customer database, order processing, CRM and website integration for a UK-based mail order company running upwards of c. 2.5k skus including sized clothing products which variously populate up to 30 versions of our printed catalogues every year.

As our company has grown, we have progressively transferred post, phone & web order processing, customer services, warehousing and pick, pack & dispatch to a third party fulfilment house with whom we have enjoyed a 10+ year relationship.

In-house, we have retained catalogue creation, design and sourcing, and wish to continue using FM for inventory, purchasing, website population, stats generation and two-way transfer of data with the fulfilment house who have their own robust bespoke systems.

As such, our needs have reduced the number of services for which we rely on FM, but those remaining have developed in size and complexity.

We are therefore looking for a developer who has specific experience in building an operational suite for a mail order company and an understanding of its needs.
