Integrate Cliniko API into Mailchimp eCommerce 3.0 API

I am looking to create an API integration between our clinic management software (Cliniko) and Mailchimp’s eCommerce 3.0 API. Both systems have pre-existing API’s. The work required is to create a series of PHP files that can be triggered via a cron job on my server each day. The following outcomes are required: • Map products from Cliniko to Mailchimp • Map appointments attended into customers, orders and order line items in Mailchimp POST Products 1. Call Cliniko for appointment_types 2. Map appointment types into products and product variants in Mailchimp NOTE: We will map a single variant against each product, with the same details as the parent product. 3. Field Mappings (Cliniko -> Mailchimp): - Id -> Id - Name -> Title - Description -> Description - Category -> Type - Variants - Id -> Id - Name -> Title [login to view URL] [login to view URL] POST Orders 1. Call Cliniko for individual_appointments with a filter applied to only retrieve appointments that have ‘starts at’ date as today and ‘patient arrived’ as true 2. For each appointment returned from Cliniko, POST order details to Mailchimp 3. Make a subsequent call using the returned order ID from Mailchimp to send the appointment details as a line item 4. Field Mappings (Cliniko -> Mailchimp): - Id -> Id - Customer - Array with customer details (retrieved from ‘patient’ link within Cliniko response) - Line Items (single line item sent as part of the line item array) - Id -> Id - Appointment Type -> Product ID - Product Variant ID - ‘1’ -> Quantity - '100’ -> Price - Starts At -> Processed At Foreign - ‘AUD’ -> Currency Code - ‘100’ -> Order Total [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Assumptions • The store id value used by Mailchimp will be hardcoded in a config file.
