Introduce a web-based process to capture service calls from our distributors which integrates with our warranty reimbursement process
Warranty reimbursement consists of auto-approval if certain criteria are met, otherwise it goes into holding for review/manual approval. After processing an approval, notifications need to be sent via email.
New UI Scope
Search by unique identifier (fab no.). Display a header section with static information from unit information table and dynamic list of service calls related to that unit.
Service Call Entry:
All users view: Entry screen to submit a service call. After submission, only an admin can edit. Service calls marked for warranty reimbursement go through an approval process. Service calls not marked for warranty get recorded in the database for informational purposes.
Service Call History:
List of service calls submitted by current user
Modification of service and mileage reimbursement rates
List view of all service calls with sort by and filters for type, status, user, fab no.
List view of all units
Reason – Add/Edit/Remove a “fix”
