I am looking for a small app that can produce a report. The report is actually going to be used by us in production and print out of all the items in a given garment that we produce. It is very basic but there are a few formatting issues in the report. The report should be a PDF. If you see the attached spreadsheet, first look at the datasource tab, this will be how I will be suppling the data for the report (in CSV format).
I then need a report created as per the formats page. At the top of the page (in the box on the left) is the basic user interface that I want to create the report, it contains a hyperlink setting to the datasource and the print button. In the second part of the page is the report layout and design.
The only tricky thing that I want is that the images must be to the actual scanned sized and cannot be clipped or changed in aspect ratio to fit into the relevant box. Therefore the box must grow and shrink. The image location will be listed in the datasource and the report needs to populate the image from this location. Secondly, if the image is over a certain width, it should allocate the entire width of the page to the image (putting the codes above) as per the last example of the spreadsheet. I think we can compress the text fields down. They only need to be:
Part Number - 20 Characters
Description - 36 Characters
Vendor - 8 Characters
Qty Per - 7 Digits
Font size should be 11.
The report needs to run on a windows 2008 server. It needs to produce the report as a PDF and for every change in the garment code it needs to print it on a separate page.
