Please visit our website www (dot) impactteachers (dot) com and you will see that the website is hosted with WP Engine. However, the application page (if you click on that) is hosted with our CRM provider. It's hosted on their platform since it feeds directly into our database which is held with all client databases. Therefore, we cannot have access to the forms and fields.
These forms (which we call our 'application pages') are the core of our business and we need to bring them outside and do other versions, create A-B testing, etc which will allow us to update and correct the form in an ongoing manner for maximum conversion. We will need multiple given we work in multiple markets, e.g. Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The webpage content will need to change along with the individual fields. We require certain fields in order to convert but they could be on multiple pages, worded differently, etc. They have to work best on mobile devices but also desktop, etc. I can provide all the analytics once we proceed.
The first step in this process is to work with the developer at our CRM company to create a documentation on how to use the API. They do this for other companies that say control their own job boards so it's not new to them. It will use a JSON API. He will use the same logic as they currently have to save on time. This application page will create high level calls to the API at the file level for things like save, retrieve, look-up, etc. This developer will work with you to go over and create the rules, e.g. pass applicants name, pass date of birth, etc.
The spec is:
1. Work with the CRM developer to create documentation to work with them for our purposes.
2. Move our application to another environment where we can control it and pass the info on via the API
3. Start creating multiple applications pages for testing and release as needed.
Step 2 will need evaluated a bit before step 1 can be done so we know or have an idea how it will work. We have used Unbounce before but it's too limiting for our needs. I assume we just host them ourselves and test and release accordingly depending on the source IP, e.g. Canada vs. Australia, etc.?? But we would have lots to talk about based on your comfort with this type of project.
We are eager to move as fast as possible and have booked time with the developer at the CRM company to be onsite on Wednesday 15 May from 7am to 12 noon EST.
Therefore, please respond if this is something you can do with ease and have the right experience. Please provide an hourly rate if not already stated. Confirm you have at least an hour to work with the developer on the 15th and have time to work with me prior to that so all is clear and I can get you whatever it is you need.
If so I will contact you for an initial chat.
All the remaining info on where our forms (application page) can move and the various testing required can be discussed in detail later. However, any ideas would be appreciated once you understand the requirement. We are very open to ideas in order to get the best conversions possible.
Please don't hesitate asking questions.
