API to record data from a buy back marketplace .
Currently this marketplace works by buyers adding their offers, and the customer then always gets to sell their item to the highest offer
Eg supplier offers to buy
Item X @ £100 x 10 times
Once these 10 offers have been sold it will move to the next buyer who may have
Item X @ £99 x 7 times
And then onto the next buyer
Item X @ £97 x 8 times.
- These are only examples, I have no idea on the quantities sold. But what I do know is that when I visit the website the price has always dropped to new suppliers.
The data i need to record is
1. The highest price with time
2. Supplier offering highest price
3. The quantity sold (i don’t know if this is possible)
4. Website visits between price drops (if possible)
The goal is to use the data to see the price drop over time (& qty if possible).
The data then distributed on a graph to analyse the product price/time so that I can offer prices that will appeal to the market.
This API will then need to be applied to multiple products on this website.
