The project consists of connecting Phone System to CRM system via API. The phone system is PBXware and CRM system is InfusionSoft. The business purpose for integration is for when an agent extension answers phone call it automatically assigns the proper contact record to the specific agent who helped the customer. Both systems have API's and documentation.
