I have a list of ISBN's that I want searched on Amazon. There are a few specific things I want:
-First, everything would be written to a single file, so it would constantly update that file and add too it. a. I’d want the file updated and to have the specific ISBN rewrite the information gathered to the ISBN it is searching for.
b. I don’t want duplicates, if the ISBN is already in the .csv file, I’d want it to use that line to write what it finds.
c. I have a format already set out for my ISBN’s, so it would need to use the format that I have in place.
-Item price
a. I want to know the cost of getting the item price every day, every week, and every two weeks.
-Sales Rank
a. I'd like to track the sales rank of each ISBN, so instead of replacing the information in the .csv file, it would track it.
-Other ISBN's
a. With the list of ISBN's I have, I'd like to have the webscraper go through Amazon's pages and gather more data on the products linked to the page.
1. I'd want specific products, that match certain criteria, if it doesn't match, I'd like it to ignore.
2. As it grabbed new items and updated the file, it would grab additional pieces of information, like picture, ISBN, title, description, and any other relevant information. It would then start tracking and doing the same thing with any new ISBN's that it is doing with the other ISBN's
-Other Products
a. I’d like to see products that are offered on the same page, suggested products. If the don’t match the specific details I need, I’d want them added to a different file folder, in the same format.
