We are using a WooCommerce theme called Porto.
The current desktop version of the site has a really nice built in AJAX search box.
However when viewing on mobile this search box goes "off-canvas" and just displays the search icon (and when clicked is unusable as it's off the screen)
See screenshots for reference.
*ALL THE FUNCTIONALITY IS ALREADY IN THE PORTO THEME FOR DESKTOP*
*NO 3rd PARTY PLUGINS TO BE INSTALLED!*
I suspect there is a media query or some kind of function which is switching the layout for the mobile search compared to the desktop version.
Your job is to identify where is switch is taking place and overwrite it so that the search bar displays full width on mobile.
I have attached a "mock-up" example of how we wish the search bar to display to give you a better idea or what is required.
**Please DO NOT waste your time or ours by bidding on this project if you are not 100% confident you can do this task.
This will be a super simple project for someone with experience using Elementor and custom themes, i particular the Porto theme.
Links to our site and any access you require will be provided.
