we are looking for someone with experience with ms access 2010 front end and MySQL database back end . We would like to re write our existing purchasing software which is in access and cannot meet our requirements any more.
we will provide MySQL database and you need to fix errors may appear when using access front end.
also following forms and reports should be created in access :
A. Requisitions – Edit and send as email attachment ( EXCEL format ) to Ship Chandlers
B. Quotations – Receive quotes in excel format sent via requisitions and a script will auto import to database
C. Create Comparison and export to excel format between 4 different suppliers
D. Orders – Create orders and send to supplier(s) via email attachment ( PDF –EXCEL ) format
[login to view URL] – Shows number of requisitions received but not yet send to supplier and another visual report on dashboard shoes orders send and not yet closed as delivered
You cannot change following changes included in mysql database :
Master table is tblrequisition and child tables are tblrequisitionsuppliesdetails ( conditions where tblrequisition.RequisitionLink=1) and tblrequisitionsparesdetails ( where [login to view URL]<>1) / MASTER/DETAIL connect tblrequisition.idcounter=[login to view URL] AND tblrequisition.idcounter=tblrequisitionsparesdetails.EnquryLink.
So basically there are two (2) main categories the SPARE PARTS and all others i.e. SUPPLY .
Various automation will be required like copy items from one requisition to other, split orders to different suppliers, agent details to be printed on order form, payment terms to be printed on order form , also when user edit a requisition autofill option should be available more specifically when they enter short code it look up impa table and auto fill description , check dublicates on a requisition and give the option to auto delete etc.
ALSO orders currency depends location of supplier i.e. can be euro , sgd other BUT all being converted to USD for budget analysis - you can see that in details tables where there are columns for usd conversion .
Office user should have the option to add / create a new requisition in our new purchasing software
1- Requisitions (view/edit/create) - filter based on various criteria like completed rfqs or not , per vessel , per category
2- Quotations (view-edit)
3- Comparison (create/view)
4- Order (create/view) - split items to most cost competitive if required
6- Screen to add/edit suppliers
