Looking for someone who is an expert on Payment Gateways and also on Older Agriya Software who can fix it. Perhaps someone who does not work for them anymore. This is not a Wordpress site. It is a full script. Think something like Kick Starter.
I have a project that was based on a crowd funding app. It was redeveloped in 2018. First made in 2010. It has been a disaster. I just want to see if we can get the payment gateway working again. It is using the old Payment Rest API. I want to make my current script not wait till the end of a project to pay out a user, I want it to release payments as they come. Also I want the project to just continue indefinitely, and just receive and raise funds as people may want to give. I have a Developer working with me, and he is quite good but this is not in his area of expertise.
I want to change the projects so they do not end unless they are cancelled or deleted. Currently the user puts in an end date.
The reason is, that I want payouts to happen every 7 or 14 or 30 days. Continuous.
7 days, 14 days, or 30 days to be selectable by user or having option to override by admin.
I want all projects to continue unless deleted. That way users can continue to earn.
The issue I am having now is that the projects only pay on the end date. Then the project is ended, and put into a hall of fame kind of thing. The project can not be restarted.
We tried doing a cloning thing to allow the project to reset itself every 7 days but it does not trigger a cron and causes some links to break. And there are other issues too.
It is not clear that a CRON is being triggered to actually do the payouts, because I see refunds being issued to the funders, on the end dates, instead of payments to the user and the site.
