New portal front page

My company delivers financial information to investors in the renewable energy industry. We are looking for someone to redesign the front page of our customer intranet. The issue is NOT about graphic design (though a bit of flair wouldn't harm), it is about pulling in a number of feeds of data out of our extensive MySQL database and from external sources (news, deal information, charts etc) and displaying them in an engaging and dynamic way. We know what we want, we need to see prototypes to which we can respond. The person will work with our editorial team, who are in London, and also with our senior programmer, who is in Poland. UK-based and polish-speaking bidders will be preferred. The ideal would be a UK-based polish speaker. The key is we want someone really proficient, really dependable, who can translate our design ideas into reality. Please note: only individual coders need bid: we will not award this work to a company. Please do not respond with a generic text on your capabilities, we will not choose you. English proficiency is a must, as is regular access to Skype. Michael ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The successful bidder must be super-proficient in MySQL and PhP - and I do mean that. We have the data to do some very funky things - no beginners need apply. Experience in setting up automated feeds of external data would be good, especially serving real-time graphs and analytics.
