I'm using "Layer Slider" WordPress plugin (which already has built-in text layers support).
The task is to expand it's functionality, so that it would create slides with many text-based screens automatically, the following way:
1. The plugin should let the user submit a text file with sentences (and then each sentence is to become a separate slide).
- Among the text sentences there may also be pictures. So, the text file the user submits should look like this:
This is sentence #1.
This is sentence #2.
[url removed, login to view]
Is this sentence #3?
This is sentence #4.
This is sentence #5!
This is sentence #X.
Sentences can be short and long, but in the end is always a new line and/or a punctuation mark (./!/?), and a new sentence always begins with a capital letter.
The user specifies the size of the slider in pixels, and the speed of showing one word in a sentence. Ie, if the user types speed 1 sec, and in some of the sentences there are 8 words, the sentence will be displayed for 8 seconds.
Transition time between sliders should be set too, but 1 constant value within the slides of 1 slider.
The user sets slide's text color and background color, and can make a few combinations, and then they will be used one at a time. For example: (text: # ffffff bg = # 000000; text: # 000000 bg = # ffffff ;)
The user presses a button and a slider is created, in the given size. When looking at the slider, it should display the sentences and pictures from the submitted list, automatically, one at a time.
The sentences are centered. Font size - so that each sentence fits in the specified slider size , and 15 pixels cell-padding left. Ie, each sentence font can be different size.
Also, the user can (optionally) set a minimum and maximum letter size.
The user also sets the speed of picture show.
If the image is too big, the script will shrink it. If smaller than slider size - picture size will be native, and the image centered.
The text (sentences) can be in many languages.
The plugin should also work in "paragraph / page" mode.
This means - if I want to automatically create slides that include more than a single sentence in 1 slide,
I should be able to do so by dividing the text into blocks, with tags "" and ""
at the beginning and at the end of the text for each separate slide.
Please offer your best price for the project.
