Needed, the following function in WindowsXP and IE5+ and Firefox:
in Delphi 7.
When text is highlighted (using the cursor) on a web page in either IE5+ or Firefox, it will be automatically copied for pasting, but not to the Windows clipboard, (because I need that to be available at the same time to store something else that is being copied).
The above needs to happen smoothly and safely, without interferring in any way with any other Windows function.
This will be the same function as highlighting text and selecting Edit/copy. I am just trying to save the steps of having to, for example, right-click and select copy.
A demo will be helpful. The demo needs only to be a text box with a "paste" button, that will paste the saved text into the text box.
Note: this function should only work while the application (demo) is running. And it should not be a browser plugin.
