Fortec Lifetime Ultra Reciever Software

I currently have a Fortec Lifetime Ultra Reciever which i update to new firmware when its released. I use firmware AL7BAR See [login to view URL] for more information about this reciever and firmware etc.. You can also search for more information about this reciever. Now i dont know what programming language this is programmed in but im sure anyone with knowledge about what i am asking for should know. What i am looking for is the following: 1. The reciever has no internet connection type but i can connect the reciever and update it / communicate etc.. via a direct serial connection. So i would like the firmware programmed so the reciever can connect to the internet via the serial port. Now this could work 2 ways. Either modify the firmware so it has the abilty to recieve an internet connection ( prefered ) OR Create a program to interact with the reciever to give it internet access. The reason i want this is because i would like implemented into the reciever Card Sharing.. Whats Card Sharing? OK this is where a box somewhere that is connected to the internet has a card in and is allowing other users to connect to it to allow it to use the card. I know only a little but on other recievers they ask for an ip, user/pass and it connects to this and reads the card. Search: dreambox card sharing for more information on this. I will talk more with the choosen coder on this project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
