flash/actionscript based VNC viewer

VNC (virtual network computing) allows for remote control of windows and linux desktops. The 2 primary components in VNC are the client and server, and they communicate using the RFB protocol (remote frame buffer).

I am requesting a Flash actionscript based viewer with the following characteristics:

- xmlsocket based (note with the onData event, messages do not need to be xml)

- support for RAW encoding type as specified in the RFB spec ([url removed, login to view])

- Flash 7 player preferred, but Flash 8 player may be required for new BitmapData support

NOTE that I am not looking for a full blown beautiful flash GUI (by the way, the aicore site if very very good). I am in need of the core actionscript that

- establishes the XMLSocket

- listens for RAW RFB protocol packets

- puts the appropriate pixels on the screen (a MovieClip or BitmapData object)

The following are not needed at this stage:

- authentication

- encodings other than RAW

- mouse handling (ie no mouse events required, either up or down)

- screen resize after initial handshake

- any sort of GUI built around the code (ie no beautiful flash GUI)

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
