Firefox extension (237665)

We want to create a solution to share Firefox bookmarks and ad-blocking lists between many users. For this, we need a Firefox extension that works similar to the one at [login to view URL] At Firefox startup, it fetches some files (bookmarks, settings) by GET request from a given URL (passing the current profile name or ID as parameter) and stores them in the appropriate folder in the current Firefox profile. When Firefox is shut down, some files from the profile are sent to a given URL (also passing the current profile name or ID as parameter). The URLs to send to/retrieve from must be configurable within the extension. This should be rather easy to do, since there is a similar extension and lots of other Firefox extensions to learn from. ## Deliverables We expect to get the full commented source code along with a description how to generate the extension from this source code, along with all rights for unlimited usage and modification. Future changes and maintenance will probably be required, but this will be separate projects. ## Platform Windows mandatory, Linux optional.
