Looking for a person or team to design a CUSTOM CMS for a site. We have tried many pre-made open source ones but none meet our needs exactly. The site will basically feature a list of videos. Each spot will be sold for a certain amount of money. Similar to the site http://worldstarhiphop.com.
The customer does not know programming, and wants to hire other people to help with blogs and stuff, so I need help building a system to allow them to edit the site easily. It will need different user levels, preferably customizable by the admin where he can create a new level and define its permissions. They will need the ability to add videos in each specific spot, change links in the menu bar, and add blogs on certain pages.
We would also like to get a rating system in stars for both users and an "editors' rating." I need something that can be incorporated into the template that I am creating. The ideal product would contain all the backend files and databases as needed, and then list of code segments that can be added in the appropriate spot in the template. I am an intermediate php coder, but do not have the expertise or the time to make the whole system. Please add the word penguins in your bid or PM so I know you fully read the requirements.
The customer's budget for this part of the project is around $500. More info and examples will be given as we narrow down bidders. There is not a pressing deadline, you will have about 60-90 days to get the majority done. We will be working on the pages together. Selected bidder will also need to sign a contract and NDA.
