Debug JQuery Application Not Setting Headers

Attached ([login to view URL]), I'd like to set the following outgoing HTTP headers: Authorization, Accepts and Content-Type. When this is debugged in FireBug, I notice the headers aren't set. $30 if you can help me set the headers and verify it in FireBug.
