I have a collection of 87 wordpress themes. I need to use them for another CMS and the best way for me to do this is to start from having plain HTML/CSS/JS, removing all Wordpress specific files. I want all wordpress-specific tags etc removed so from looking at the source, they look like well-written sensibly named elements. The final format of each template will have:
A file for each template view (homepage, blog layout, full width layout etc)
PHP includes for all re-used elements, including headers, footers etc
"public" folder with "css", "js" and "img" subfolders containing those relevant files.
All image sliders to use jQuery cycle
Removal of all non-essentials plugins
So basically it could work as a standalone site at that stage but it would be ready to use with another system.
The project will have 2 milestones. The first will be the delivery of the first template in the required format. We can then test the template and if the quality is as required, then the other 86 templates can be done and on completion and approval, the 2nd milestone will be hit.
If you have any questions, please just ask.
