I require CMS with a database for my website which contains 3 different subdomains (categories) who all 3 require a different form for data entry. Every entry of each subdomain(category) will create a table with that information. Some of that data will be used to show at the frontpage. So the frontpage shows 3 tables (each representing one of 3 subdomains.)
Specific data will be used to create (for every sub domain) a calendar so the user has an overview of this month’s posted ‘items’ per sub domain.
1. So the site contains for us:
- A cms system where we can enter detailed information for each(category, who each contain about 15 information field)
Those entries will show on the:
o Frontpage (3 tables, each containing about 3 information fields of the 15 entered)
o 3 sub domains (which contains a table with all the info/data entered of that specific sub domain)
o 3 calendars*, one for every sub domain (using 3 of 15 entities)
2. For the user:
- 1 form, where people can pick or add certain items (titles from future entries) from the database so they get an automatic generated email when their request has been added to the database. Every entry of this form needs to be checked by us. So the database won’t contain double or inconsistent files. If a user creates a new expected item (which is validated by me) this item will be added to a dropdown menu which makes it easier for next users.
3. As soon as an item is added to the database by us (1) the database matches the entries with the database(2) and an email goes out to the requester containing a link to the site where their info is to be found.
*Note: 1 of the 3 calendars requires it for us to show data up front. So the entry of that form must show on the calendar page but doesn’t show yet on the frontpage or sub domain until we want it to. So it must be possible to pick the entry out of the database and say add. So it later will be added, and the user gets the information (and email) at the right time.
