I have a basic butterfly site set up selling a membership or a product or a membership with products. The idea is if they dont decide to join as a paid member, they can buy the product at retail price. -$60.00 or 4 for $200 or 8 for $400. If they pay to join the membership and become a dealer the basic membership would be say $30 plus a retail buy at $60 or 4 for $200 or 8 for $400. After becoming a member, they can offer memberships to people they bring in. They would get maybe $15 a piece for the $60 purchase. The second tier they would get $5 a sale. [ shipping of coarse would be added ]
In the members area a order page with type of unit, quantity total and shipping would have entries for them. Hit send to purchase and the commission would be counted on the applied transaction.
Retail [ not a member] Member first time purchase same as retail plus $30 charge
[ now the member can sell product and get commission
$60 each through their own sales] commission would be $15 per
$200 for 4 unit $20 for the four unit and $40 for the eight unit.
$400 for 8 This would be a 2 tier sale $5 each sale unit goes to their
There have been issues with the butterfly software in the past, but I think it is fairly stable now. I would like this modification to work with all of their available payment processors. Also in the adimistration section have a way to control or adjust the percentages in each level.
If the purchase page had a slot for a picture, then next to it a short description. The important thing is the order entry windows example- item box. Quantity box, price box, tax box, shipping box total and then submit to payment processor.
The site is already built with a membership software. Built with php and mysql. The site is designed for one product in each membership level. Same products, just different pricing structure, paying commission on 2 levels.
