Project requirements: 1) List and print the delta files created by this project,( for audit purposes). 2) Create and load a record called ( by parameters of table # and requested effective date (RED ) 3) Display and print the above record (For audit purposes). 4) Provide Access 2002 tables of field names and numbers and table names and numbers which will control search and storage of data and enable new tables and new fields to be added. 5) Use VB6 and Access 2002. 6) There will be dozens of tables and hundreds of fields. I will be pleased to answer any questions and modify requirements if needed to ease coding. Be aware that several coders have attempted this project without success. STORE Create a storage module that will, read selected access 2002 tables, as they are “stored??, detect changed fields and store the new data together with related data in a delta file. A delta file is a file of new data. The related data includes a requested effective date (RED). RETRIEVE and LOAD TABLE The operator will select a requested effective date (RED) then open the table. A retrieve module created under this project will search the delta file and load the table with data from the delta file. Use data with the last stored effective date on or before the RED Ignore data with effective dates after the RED. For the field, which has the focus, display the stored effective date and data (maximum 5 before and 5 after RED). If no data exists for the field load the field with two dashes. RETRIEVE and LOAD RECORD Load a record identified by the table name and RED.
