I have written an application in VB6 that goes to various websites to read prices on products. But some websites cause the webbrowser control to bring up the message "this page contains secure and non-secure items, display this page?". I have enabled "display mixed content" in the security settings of Inernet Explorer, but this has not helped. I currently have Internet Explorer 6 installed. This is a sort of robot application. I turn it on in the morning and it runs all day when I am at work. Therefore, I need it to be able to automatically click 'yes' whenever it comes across this warning message. I am not concerned about security. I already know that I have a secure connection to the sites I am visiting. This is simply a bug in Internet Explorer. I think you will have to write some code that can read the windows message queue and detect when this type of warning message window comes up. Then, you will probably have to click 'yes' (with WM_LBUTTONDOWN?). I need the finished code to be easy to place in my existing application. You will probably have to write code to start a hook and then end a hook. There may be module(s) as well I guess. I need this done ASAP. I cannot give you the application. You may need to set up a barebones sample application with a webbrowser control to show to me that it works before I install it in my application. This is for my own home use - this will not be distributed. This is only meant to be used with a webbrowser control using the Internet Explorer DLL ([login to view URL]). Do not spend time doing extra things like making it work for Netscape or things like that. I don't need that. I will always be running this application from my home computer on a windows platform with microsoft products. I don't want any lectures on how much better open source/linux is. I don't care. I use microsoft products. Save your opinions for yourself, please.
