Ok, here is the problem I have...
I have about 300+ backup CDs and DVDs which have various things on them from word documents to movies to applications. Each disc has between 1 - 500 different things on them and I don’t have a list of what is on each disc. When looking for a particular thing I have to sometimes spend hours going through each disc looking for it.
What I need is a windows program that will read the disc I put in the drive, take a copy of the directory structure and files etc. and assign that disc a unique ID number. I will then remove the disc and write the ID onto it and put it back in the big pile next to me. I want to be able to do this to every disc i have so that when looking for something i can just do a search through the list to find out the disc ID.
Very simple though would help me tremendously!
