We are a community and co-working space for startups, based in London and growing. We have just started using SugarCRM as our customer database platform, but we need some customisations to fit our specific needs.
(I have renamed the 'Accounts' module to 'Companies', and refer to them in that way in this spec.)
1. We need a 'members' module, to keep track specifically of members and their details. Members can be either contacts or companies. It should record their status (active, inactive), membership type, payment history. There are a few custom fields within this, and since that might change often, I would like to use Studio to maintain that.
2. We need a 'checkin' module, which keeps a record of when members visit a location, and when they leave. There should be the option of writing to this via the API. It should record the date/time of the access, the location, and the member.
3. A basic dashlet which tells us how many people are currently 'checked in', based on their membership type and location.
