I need a custom PHP support ticket system.
You can use any existing ticket system you want, as long as it is open-source or extemely cheap.
I need it installed and customized for the following usage and features:
QUESTION + ANSWER SYSTEM
for parents, class reps, grade reps, moderators
this is for a school Q&A system, which has a specific workflow. I want this to be modified from a support ticket system, because it is essential thall questions be answered, and other functionality of those systems.
-parents are registered manually by class rep
-there is 1 class rep per classroom
-class reps are registered manually by grade reps
-there are several grade reps, but they rep a few grades each.
-there are only a couple of moderators
-grade reps and moderators are registered by admin
-parents are manually registered by class rep and sent an email through the system notifying them that they may ask questions.
-class reps answer questions posted by parents. if they cannot answer the question, they forward the question to the grade rep.
-the questions are forwarded, but the identity of the parent who asked the question is not known by the grade rep or the moderator-- only the class reps are to know which parent asked which question. This is very important.
-so the class reps can login and see what questions they have left to answer, and parents can login and see the status of their question.
-class reps can update status without necessarily answering the question, so the parents know its being worked on at least.
-login and password retrieval
-user control panel to change password, etc
-each class parents has admin area to add parents and edit their info.
only the class parent knows the identity of each parent-user.
-grade reps have admin area to view questions that have been forwarded to them, and also to add class reps and edit their info
-moderators have admin area to view questions that have been forwarded to them.
-admin has admin area to add moderators and grade reps and make other changes to system. admin is not to be able to see which parents asked which questions either.
So that's the functionality. I think an existing system could definitely be modified-- such as "PHP Support Tickets".
You will get FTP access, phpMyAdmin access and 1 MYSQL database
