[login to view URL] , the website I have now works well but over time and use I realized that needs some improvements without losing content.
The website has been created with php and mysql and trough a custom CMS I am able to upload my content.
## Deliverables
This is the list of what I would like done:
1. Fix first page loading mess.
Now when landing on the homepage some broken images/frames show up until finally the page loads. This is especially visible with slower connections and computers. I want this to be fixed.
2. Image and flash integration.
The current content management system is set-up to upload only .swf (the spinning pano) as the main content. I would like also to be able to combine static, .jpg images, with .swf images without breakin the current layout of the Virtual Tour page. If the image does not have the same aspect ratio as the current default space for the .swf file the image will be displayed as "best fit" into to current allocated space. The remaining space will be filled with background. A click on the image will enlarge the image to full screen "best fit" . A click on the enlarged image will restore the image into the default space "best fit". I as a user I only have to create on image to be uploaded into the website, the full resolution. I do not want to create 2 images, one for display on page and one for display on full screen. Of course I will still have to create the Thumbnail and Header images same as I do now for swf files.
3. Map marker icon update.
The current set-up has a predefined number of generic colored balloon markers. I want to be able to upload some custom map markers. This does not have to be done via CMS. My suggestion is to have a folder where I can dump my new icons and a separate text file where manually I can list the file name for each icon. This list then can be used by the CMS to read the icons and display them in the drop down list in the category manager.
4. Category text color change update
I want to have a stronger contrast between on/off colors of the category menu. Currently is white for active and a light gray for inactive. My suggestion is to have the light gray darker but still visible on the dark gary. This will be a trial and error and I will do some testing on my own in Photoshop.
