SCOPE OF WORK: to create one program that will track month to month and create year end financials.
REASONS FOR PROJECT: to simplify the process for self storage managers... that even a 70 yr old grandmother could use this program easily
DETAILS: create a monthly bookkeeping for income and expense. the following month will be a carry over from the previous month without the numbers. for example - you have 100 customers for February and they all paid their rent for the month. next month (march) the same 100 customers' names would carry over from last month but the rent amount paid for march is blank since the rent hasn't been paid.
for the financials, all the monthly numbers will show up on the year end as totals in the financial statement.
the financial statement will consist of "profit & loss statement", "cashflow statement", and "assets & liabilities statement".
my vision is it's based off of an excel spreedsheet.
i will provide the format for the monthly and year end statements.
