I have a backend MySQL database which contains 2 tables person table and a roster/schedule table.
I want a page displayed on a website that will enable me to display a schedule / roster on the website. The roster/schedule table is updated by another application. The other application can export the data in the table to the wordpress site (more than likely have the same table added to the wordpress database.
Not certain of the best approach - maybe create a plugin to do this - will be guided a little by what people think could be the best (or simplest and easiest) approach to take
