I need someone familiar with setting up Etilize DB on my server and create a simple html catalog so I can view the products in the demo. I would like to see all the information that they provide.
Install the DB onto my Linux server
Setup simple web catalog so I can browse the products.
Downloading the script files
The first step is downloading the script files which will be used to import the content into the database - You would need to download the script files from ftp://[url removed, login to view] - Login using the username and password provided to you via email
Once logged in navigate to the folder named CSV - download the file pertaining to the database you would like to import the content into
 Obtaining the content
Once the script file has been downloaded - The following needs to be done to download the content:
1. Unzip the file
2. Within the Download scripts - you would find 3 folders (Windows, Linux and Windows 2003) navigate to the folder based on the platform you are using
3. Open up the file [url removed, login to view](Linux) or [url removed, login to view](Windows) in a text editor
4. Replace the <username> and <password> with the username and password provided to you for content download and save the file
5. To download the content open up a command prompt(Windows) or a Terminal(Linux) and navigate to the folder containing the scripts
6. Run the scripts by typing "Refresh [url removed, login to view]"(Windows) or sh [url removed, login to view](Linux)
 Importing the content
Once the content has completed downloading navigate to the folder containing the downloaded content - unzip the files and move the downloaded csv files to the folder containing the [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] files - e.g. if using the Mysql scripts, place the CSV files into the folder called Mysql.
The final step is running the import script - for this you would need to open up a command prompt or terminal and navigate to the folder containing the csv files - run the script by typing the following:
[url removed, login to view] <database username> <Database Password> <Database Name> <Server Address> -a-s-d-x
sh [url removed, login to view] <database username> <Database Password> <Database Name> <Server Address> -a-s-d-x
 XML Import
This section will guide you through the steps for importing the content exported in XML format using the Importer - The process contains the following steps:
• Obtaining the content
• Downloading the Importer
• Setting up the database
• Running the Importer
 Obtaining the content
The content can be donwloaded from ftp://[url removed, login to view] using the username and password provided in the demo email - Once logged in you should see a folder called Sample - within the Sample folder you would find the following folders:
AIDC: Contains sample content for AIDC/POS products
Generic: Contains sample content for Office Products
IT: Contains content for IT products.
CSV: Contains sample content in CSV format (import of CSV is detailed later in this section)
SpexLite: This folder contains sample content for the lite version of the package. For details regarding SpexLite Documentation, please visit SpexLite_Documentation
Within the folders AIDC, IT and Generic listed above, there are two folders placed depending on the package you wish to evaluate. Etilize currently offers in its SpeX offerings 2 packages namely SpexPlus and SpexLite. Within SpexPlus there are 2 schemas (2.11 and 2.2).
Schema 2.11 contains the basic specs without any addons.
Schema 2.2 contains all the addons ("Detailed Attribute", "Options and Accessories", and "Up/Cross Sell".) ..
You would need to download the zip file called [url removed, login to view] from the folders mentioned above based on the package that you wish to evaluate.
 Downloading/Configuring the Importer
The next step after downloading the content file "[url removed, login to view]" is to download the relevant importer.
