My webserver has some problems the last two weeks. From one day to another the load avarage went to 200+ and the webserver crashed. Now this is happing on a daily basis on different times. The webserver didn't had any problems the last two years.
My webhost thought it was the old OS. Demon 4. They installed a new (vps) server for me with the latest updates and CentOS 6.2,
I migrated the website today to the new server and changed the DNS. Everything is running on the new server.
I updated wordpress to the latest version, updated the Invision powerboard forum but the load avarage is still going nuts one's in a wile. See pictures about 'TOP' info.
The "old" server didn't get the high load avarage today. Only the new one had the high load avarage. (The old one is still online)
When this problem occurs i need to "destory" the server. A reboot doesn't work anymore. After the destroy and boot the server is fine again.
I don't have any Linux skills, i'm a good Windows expert but linux.... sorry.....
I found this: [url removed, login to view]
and: [url removed, login to view]
I hope this can be a temporarily solution. When the load goes to 25 the server gets a "nice" shutdown. But maby one of you guys has an better idea and solution. I also need APC installed on the new server.
