74422 Improve PHP/MySQL Search

Hi, I have a PHP/MySQL directory website. It does have a search script which is very literal. I need the script to be more intelligent. eg: If I have a record that reads "Little green wood widgets", I want that record to show up for search terms like "little widgets" or "green widgets", etc. The new script would need to 'parse' the search string into individual words, etc. My script is not intelligent enough to do this and will only return exact matches of the search term. Also, I need to ensure that records are only displayed when whole words are used, ie. the searchterm "e" will return most records! The pagination is fine, I just need a more intelligent script to retrieve the records. Regards, briancahill
