I need a script for SAMBA file sharing. What I want is the following.
1) You login the server.
2) I will run the script samba-accounts (or whatever the name is)
3) It will bring me to a menu that will prompt me to either: add a user, add a group, add a folder.
4) What will take place If I create a user like this it will prompt me for: the user name, the user password, the user group (it will also give me a list of groups if needed so I can choose). What will then take place is the program will create a Group folder if it does not already exist and give the group permission to read and write to it. It then will create a folder based on username and give only that user read and write to it.
-If the folder does exist for the group it just adds the user to the group so he can access the folder. Then just creates the users file folder with read and write permissions.
I should be able to later go in to the script and If I choose to create a group it will create a group folder if it doesn't exist and give that group permissions. Then I can modify users and add them to the folder.
It is probably very simple. A script or a php page would be fine for this administration. PM for more information.
